Entrepreneurial Mindset I thrive on activating a “What if?” mindset in others to envision and create smarter solutions people love. I work directly with executive teams and across organizations to strategize and liaise initiatives.
Holistic Design Approach I consider how details relate to ultimate goals, and why context matters within the larger system, from strategy brainstorms and user experience flows to scalable projects that span time and touchpoints.
Inclusive Leadership Style I believe that the magic happens when people are inspired as co-creators with vested interest in each other, their team, the success of their projects, and the health of the organization. I take pride in fostering a bias toward action based on the why, not just the what, to achieve and celebrate greater wins together.
Poogooder: It's like Little Free Libraries, but for neighborhood dog poo. In October 2020, I launched Poogooder as a grassroots movement to help end wayward dog poo for a happier, healthier community and planet. The West Seattle pilot has reached 50 active volunteer poo bins in its first 3 months solely through organic and earned marketing and word of mouth. Poogooder is based on the picture book, “Oh Poo! A Cautionary Tale,” which I wrote, illustrated, and published as a conversation starter for educating, enlightening, and activating positive action.
Otter.ai Brand Consultant, 2017-present
Guided Otter.ai from early-stage startup to a beloved brand and wildly popular, award-winning app. Helped define and express original AISense and Otter.ai brand positioning and vision. Partnering with head of growth, product team, and key executives, I advised and designed visuals and mascot, website UX, event collateral and videos, product user stories, app user guide, and successful growth marketing campaigns.
comScore VP Brand, 2008-2017
Led 9-year evolution and growth of the comScore brand and integrated product marketing programs. As director of the in-house brand team and strategic partner in the global marketing team, I played an integral role in shaping the success of the brand as comScore evolved into a media measurement powerhouse. I led comScore through three corporate brand refreshes, multiple acquisitions and major product launches, website redesigns, digital marketing optimizations, and integration following its merger with Rentrak. I achieved measurable results collaborating across the organization and with external resources.
M:Metrics Creative Director, 2004-2008
Created market-leading brand from early-stage startup to $44 million acquisition by comScore. As the sole creative and #8 employee of this mobile measurement start-up, I developed the M:Metrics identity, product UI/UX and all related materials, including writing, designing and producing the website, print collateral, advertising and event materials. I was instrumental in the brand transition process when M:Metrics was acquired by comScore in 2008.
